This privacy policy explains the use we make of your personal data, in compliance with the European GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation, applicable from 25th May 2018.

We are Contract-up®, a sole proprietorship founded by Fatéma Adamjee to empower entrepreneurs and small organisations with their business contracts.
We are registered under Dutch law with KVK no. 68927274 and with VAT/BTW number NL634364352B01.

Security
To ensure security, we commit to set up the technical and organizational necessary means according to the applicable standards in terms of data protection under the GDPR.
The Website has an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate and we use the Secupress pluggin from WordPress.
Our work tools can only be accessed by us with regularly updated passwords and are protected with antiviruses. Regular backups on external drives only accessible to us are made to prevent loss of data. We refrain from storing our work in clouds as much as possible.
Furthermore, we keep an up-to-date record on the usage made of your personal data.
If a data breach is revealed, we will inform you as soon as possible in case of high risk, as well as the competent supervisory authority (the “Autoriteit Persoongegevens” in The Netherlands) within the required time.
Data transfer
Due to our work and inherent levels of confidentiality requirements, your data are not being shared, except if required by the applicable laws and regulations.
However, due to our organization, you should note that we may have to store data on the servers of our providers (computer software, mailbox, Website host, etc.), and that these servers may be outside of the European Union depending on the localization of the providers.
Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics to analyze data and measure traffic on our Website, in order to get a deeper understanding of our Website’s functioning and performance, so we can enhance customers’ experience on the Website. Cookies will be generated by Google Analytics during the automated reading of the anonymized Website’s data. A banner displayed on our Website will inform you about them. This banner will reappear once the cookies are expired after a duration of 14 months (minimum duration for a Google Analytics Cookie) or refreshed. Contact form
To contact us via our Website’s contact form, you have to fill in your name, your company name and your email address. These data are personal data and based on your consent, you have to agree to our privacy policy by ticking a box to that purpose in order to send us a message via the contact form. The message field do not need to be compulsorily filled. However, if you fill it and include personal data at your own choice, they will be treated according to this privacy policy.
Newsletter
To keep you informed, we may send you, as a client, a sales lead, or any other interested party, a newsletter if, based on your consent, you have agreed to it and to our privacy policy beforehand. To that purpose, we will need personal data from you, such as your name and email. These data are going to be treated according to this privacy policy.
Recommendations on the Website
As our client, we may have asked you for a recommendation to display on our Website for a communication purpose. In that case, based on your consent, you have agreed to provide us with your name, business name and logo, as well as a short recommendation text. Any user from anywhere will be able to see this recommendation on our Website. Your consent to the use of your personal data for that purpose will be valid until you revoke this consent according to the section ‘’Your rights’’.

Articles from the Website may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, other articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with the embedded content (including tracking for instance if you have an account and/or are logged in to this website). We are not responsible for these other websites and their cookies or data treatment, such as collecting, tracing, monitoring etc.
Customers and Providers
If you are a customer or a provider, we will need to have personal data that we will collect from you, based on the contracts we have agreed to together, such as your name, business name, address, phone number, email, account number. Since we are obliged to keep our business records for 7 years in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations, these personal data included in our business records and especially in invoices, will be kept for the same duration.
Sales leads management
As a sales lead, you may have contacted us directly, via the contact form on the Website or we may have met to an event where you have given us your business card. Your personal data thus collected, such as your name, business name, address, email and phone number, will be treated according to this privacy policy, and be kept for a duration of 1 year after our last contact.
Your rights
By writing to us to info@contract-up.com, you can access your personal data, ask to have your personal data rectified or deleted, oppose to or limit the treatment of your personal data and revoke the consent given to us to treat your personal data. If you believe your personal data has been mishandled, you can make a complaint to the competent supervisory authority.
